Of course it is. You chose to miss matches on a point of principle that you believed in, just like me and a few others chose to miss last nights match on a point of principle we believe in.

Please yourself i couldnt give a shit

The lads that played last night deserved better support than they got, someone on another forum got it spot on, get behind your club and beat these reserve teams to knock them out the competition, maybe they’ll think twice before entering again next season.

Using the same logic, didn’t the players deserve your support at all the grounds charging over £20? After all the prices set aren’t their decision, just like allowing under 23’s teams in this competition isn’t.

I reckon there will be a few more on against Accy that didn’t go last night, myself included. Last night I was absent in protest at the debasing of a competition that was intended to give lower league clubs a chance of a Wembley final. It wasn’t intended to help the already spoiled Prem and ex prem clubs. Some may see that protest as a pointless gesture, but I don’t.

It’s called sticking to your principles. Bullitt I seem to remember you crowing about twenty’s plenty and saying you wouldn’t pay more than £20 to go to a game. But you did. Or if you didn’t you’ve lied about something.

Maybe it’s the fact that people have the courage of their own convictions enough to be able to stand by a point of principle that makes you criticise their non-attendance last night. I suspect it’s a concept you haven’t been able to grasp.

And just for your information Bullitt. Yes if we get to Wembley there’s every chance I’ll be getting a ticket as I went to Blackpool and will be going to Accy. But if per chance we end up playing at Wembley against an under 23 team I won’t be getting a ticket.

I have my suspicions about this but I’ll probably be branded racist just for voicing them. How was she racially abused? Did anybody witness it? Aluko seems to be adding bits to her story as she goes along and she’s certainly making the most of her time in the limelight. Isms of all kinds scare people to death because they are afraid of being seen as un PC. I think it’s very telling that they couldn’t pin a racism charge onto Sampson but because his name had been associated with it they were determined to get him for something no matter how tenuous.

Wouldnt it be nice to swap places in the leagues with the scummy Mackems?

And yet another reasonable, sensible and civilised discussion gets stopped in it’s tracks by the usual suspect.

An away match at a ground I’ve never been to before. Whether it’s local or not.

Every team in the league will be hoping they don’t get a glut of injuries but we are probably able to cope with one a bit better than the rest.

By the same token having those 2 on might have meant a loss of creativity on the rest of the field. Frustrating as it is I’d rather we created and missed chances than it create them. We have players on the pitch capable of chipping in with a few.

As I stated above I don’t think the Morsy shot went over the line and I had no way of telling if Grigg was offside from my seat in WS4. But I do feel that was an absolutely pitiful performance from the officials.

Will they pick us up from home?

I have to admit that from my angle in the Springfield Stand I didn’t think it had crossed the line and the fact that it took so many attempts to get an angle on TV that showed it actually did means that it’s understandable why the officials didn’t give it. Having said that, it would have been difficult for them to get it right as they got almost everything wrong during the rest of the game.

I know that there is a ref that posts on here sometimes and I’d love to hear his opinions on the officials. It started right from kick off when he asked Jacobs 3 times to make sure his big toenail wasn’t over the half way line before he deemed it ok to start the game. I honestly believe that the performance of the officials last night was as bad as any I’ve seen.

Despite your petty outrage and childish little tantrum, even the matchday admission prices give better value than a lot of other teams. We’re still at the cheaper end of the scale I would guess. It’s £28 on the day at Peterborough on Saturday.

So what about the principle of offering 20 games for £275? Even if you miss a quarter of those games it’s still only a bit over £18 per game. Yo said you would only be missing the first few games. Seeing as you would have been able to attend on Saturday presumably your absence period has passed meaning you can now 20 games at less than £14 each. You come across as, at best, contradictory, but mainly either wind up or a miserable beggar.

I can’t help but be very suspicious about the original post. If he was such a long term supporter he would surely have taken note of the prices and not just blindly ordered on the day without knowing. But what is even more suspicious is his lack of a response to all the suggestions offered up that would mean attending matches at decent prices. Something not right here.
