Agree with every word griff, spot on! I think regards the transfers of our good players, some of our fans need to realise that a) most players we buy are going to use us as a stepping stone and b) we have no choice but to make a healthy profit of them. If a player doesn’t want to wear the shirt anymore let them go simple as that.
I think he would be perfect, generally when the ball is played to heskey either in the air or to feet he holds it up. I think it’s good news and I would welcome him back
Mario played well on Saturday I thought. He made us look dangerous on the attack and beats players for fun. I think he’s class and totally disagree with ya

Any news on how many we have sold for the game?The negativity is shocking! Give Bobby time! Lots of managers of our club have had sticky spells and this could be Bobbys. We should be optimistic, least we are not being dished up football like the bolton fans are seeing. Its irritating when we lose 4-0 and sometimes shameful but i respect what Bobby is trying to do. I think he is naive to think we should try to outplay Arsenal and Man Utd, but dont forget Bobby is learning aswell. I for one am proud we have someone at the helm who generally takes pride in the club and is looking to build it.

Wouldn’t mind seeing koumas behind Hugo with Sinclair starting other than that I think 442. The best managers in the world at their clubs needed time, eg sir alex. Come on we have a great young manager who wants to get us playing football were in a good position. Least megson isn’t our manager.
Kapo no doubt has talent but from the start last season he didn’t look like he wanted to be here and said as much. But I think he could be a good asset. For me he could play a role just behind rodallega or on the left. He adds abit of height aswell and if we ever need to go direct he could be a good weapon.
I thought Kirkland was good today apart from the backpasses and I wish he would command his box like he did taking that cross at the end. Gomez for me looks off the pace and I would have taken him off before koumas. Diame showed his quality today, good ball winner and has power to hold onto the ball. N’zogbia for m was also good, beat players but also did his work defensively. All in all a step in the right direction but still could improve, I would like to see us move the ball abit quicker and hopefully no more of the back passes.

compare the results to last season. We drew at villa, got battered at Everton and lost to Man Utd. Granted we should have beaten wolves at home being a promoted team, but following the results of last season we would of had 4 points, one more point than now.
Yes i am abit worried but to put it in perspective its not all doom and gloom, we could be Pompey with no points, or even bolton.
You sound like you didnt see the game, we gave a decent show of ourselves, a draw would have been a fairer result, and we had a chance just before the end before they scored.We have to back martinez, we need to get behind the team, even though we are becoming angrier about our current situation. As for all the whelan haters telling him to leave, get a grip. Without his cash injection we would not have achieved the success of the previous years. I didn’t mean it like that, I mean if we are struggling alot of the so called fans who started gettng tickets because we are in the prem may stop going and to be honest I would rather that than people who know fuck all about football. I’m 19 and Wigan runs through my blood mate! Your opinion is your opinion but we need to get behind the team. Yes as I said we are angry but we need get behind them. As I said I would rather our fans were all together and turn up week in week out. It shows the players are lacking confidence and we as fans have to get behind them, and try an give them a boost!
