If football can get you this annoyed I would wrap it up pal. The lad has a difference of opinion. He’s entitled to that. Am sure he wouldn’t want fisticuffs with a war veteran like yourself Dave. After the way you strangled those Argies who would?
Cook didn’t have the advantage of parachute payments either. Also has best home record of almost any previous manager.
Spent 5 million in last year and lost biggest earner to relegation rival as couldn’t compete with wages. Played some decent stuff and if games finished on 85 we would be mid table. Still lots of games left, teams playing for Manager of that there is no doubt and given our finances and attendances we are always likely to struggle in this league. Even loyal supporters like VAT don’t go to games these days unless he needs fresh air or has nothing on so always going to be a struggle for club to stay up.
Could have sworn last time we were in League one we got just over 8k home supporters. In championship we seem to get about 9k. 15k in ticket sales every other week won’t exactly kill the club.
Darren Roylea face was a picture when the goal went in!
Wouldn’t have looked too good if he was pissin himself would it?
Will Grigg – Poor record in championship. In decline as has been seen at Sunderland. Received 3.5 million. Robbery.
Power – Again poor in championship. Not done much since.
Dan Burn- Great for us. Wanted Premier League football. Received good money.
Joe Gelhardt – Good prospect. 17 years of age. Scored one good goal. Not done much else to be fans ‘big hope’ as you say. Like local lads to come off bench but hasn’t looked up to starting. Patience required.
You don’t take a weak in air left winger off for a commanding centre half prior to a set piece?
For all these moaning bastards on here I never hear you at games. If you want Cook gone so much put together a demonstration for the next game you spineless gets. All bloody talk.
Naismith was immense today, I dont blame him.Agree with all what people are saying. They were awful…there for the taking…etc etc.
We don’t put crosses in and have no final ball. Cook HAS to go.
Was told today they had him in for a meeting, told him it wasnt working, and offered him a pay off. He refused, saying he wants the full amount. But of course, he loves the club…
No such meeting VAT. Your believing lies again.
He’s not going anywhere, trust me. Point from safety, playing well, unbeaten in 4. Someone offers Dunkley for Jacobs on a corner I don’t see problem. Morsy lost his man. It’s concentration of players not Cook that we can’t hold lead. Desperately need a decent striker to finish chances created and we will be fine.
Nowt to do? Need some fresh air? I know. I’ll go and watch Latics and the absolute shite football they play against Derby!
You been back on football manager with your dinnertime football tactics delboy?
He actually spent 8.5 million on players with 3.5 recouped for Grigg so 5 million in total. Biggest earner Powell went and one of best young players in country James went back to Chelsea. Reading spent 8 million on a striker from Inter Milan. We bought a couple of league one players as that’s what our budget allows.
You must be really arsed not even turning up for home games. You never go away either so apart from a few inane ramblings on here you don’t seem that ‘bothered’.
We could get our money back on Moore. He doesn’t suit our style of play unfortunately. Lowe shows glimpses and is a couple of years younger. Sure another striker will be in January.
Why the hell would we care VAT if you watch Latics or not? You threaten every month your not gonna post on here yet turn up again with your tail between your legs. You threaten your not going to another game yet keep coming on a forum talking about the club. Last week you were saying you were going on the pitch with a Cook banner out but am sure that was another empty threat.
I love this club and will be around whichever league we play in and whomever we play under. We’ve enjoyed more good times than 90% of clubs in this country and if these are the bad times they ain’t too bad. Watching us play in one of the biggest leagues in the world against some massive clubs for the pittance we pay for our season tickets is OK by me. I still believe we will stay up and whether that’s under Cook or not I won’t be getting angry at games as he deserves our respect. The lads doing his best with a small budget and if he’s not up to the job that’s up to the powers to be to decide come the New Year. I’ve not watched us this season and felt we were second best in many games and a combination of bad luck, poor concentration and confidence have led us to where we are now. It won’t change our lives if Latics are in the Championship or League One FFS. Most of us will still be here enjoying the ride and getting behind the club regardless. For those that want to get off that’s your perogative.
