Bloody clueless this fella!
Was talking to Maynor Figueroa’s wife Sandra at weekend and he would love to come back to the club from Dallas. Is he too old at 34? Might bring some experience?
A tactical masterclass beating England with nine changes ensuring his 100% record is kept in tact as his side look nailed on in getting to the quarter finals.
At what point will Wigan fans doff their caps to one of their own on the world stage? No doubt no credit will be given. I mean he fluked us winning the FA cup similarly.
Let’s hope he’s better than his stats suggest.
Has he only scored 2 league goals or can I not find his stats?
Always baffles me how folk can base their entire knowledge and views of a club on the views of 4 to 5 keyboard warriors on a fansite!
If anyone knows the chingalings well our Dave does that’s for sure!
Janie Jones apart why would we want to extend the stays of the other four. They hardly played in league one. Bizarre.
Couple more academy youngsters leave without getting chance!
Promising kids in the area have always been snapped up by United, City, Liverpool and Everton. Parents heads are turned, and they sign up at the age of 8 or so (or if not formally signed there are “agreements”).But surely then when these clubs release between the ages of 12-16 we should be in an ideal position to attract decent talents and develop them? Most of our scholars have been released from other clubs and follow the likes of Baines and Macmanaman in that respect. Just seems sad that we don’t promote any of the academy lads and the likes of Everton can potentially offer a transition that we can’t.
And note Donny. None of the teams you quote can sign foreign players up to the age of 16 so there’s no ‘foreign children’ in City’s academy up to the age of 15-16 when they can sign a pre contract as a scholar. UEFA would be all over it as its illegal and Barca recently received a transfer embargo on the back of such behaviour!
I’m not suggesting it’s correct. Guess I’ve just accepted it’s part and parcel of following a club away.
Cos it’s different in premier league? Like United fans don’t stand up? Like City fans didn’t go on pitch last week against Swansea when they won league? Might not be ideal but it’s the game!
Safety of kids? Lad next to me had four kids there. Two 5 year olds, a ten year old and an eleven year old. All went on pitch, had a sing and dance, shook players hands, had there pictures taken with Whelan and I couldn’t see this imminent danger of being crushed.
Everytime a club wins a trophy there’s a pitch invasion. Why are you so disgusted? You leave disappointed everytime you go away that these ‘nobheads’ ruin your kids day. You vowed at Fylde never to go again away due to your kids safety. Definition of insanity: Doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Next time. Save your sanity. Stay at home. You’ll only be disappointed!
Get a life! FFS some blokes got a bit carried away. Was harmless fun. Was Grigg out of order jumping in our end then along with players? Could have caused a riot!
If it offends find another sport because some lads let their emotions get the better of them. Just looked on twitter fans on pitch at bloody bamber bridge. Some complain everytime they go away. Next time listen on radio.
Sheffield United and Millwall done OK and didn’t win course league as impressively.
Had a discussion with a friend at Bristol last night who reckoned Cook was on his way and that his achievements (though admirable) we’re nothing special for the following reasons. Not sure I agree but does he have a point? His argument was he took on a team with the second highest budget in the league with a number of players who won the league 12 months previous. Burn, Power, Morsy, Jacobs and top scorer in league Grigg would compliment any team and Powell on top of that who is perhaps best player in league! Add a decent few and your laughing in this league was his general sentiment. Time to judge would be next season for him. Does he have a point?
