See Celtic are bidding a million plus for Jack Hendry who we released in summer to Dundee.
The side we beat in 2013 is only half as good as this City team who have lost one competitive game in around 9 months and are seen as one of the top 3 sides in Europe. As a fellow premier league side it was one hell of a scalp but that’s nothing compared to the job of beating the team they have now.
Obviously a fiddle with us sharing gate receipts. Couldn’t see over 10,000 spare seats.
Vaughan cup tied so Grigg will start!
Horrible fuckers. Anyone whose travelled with England or been to London with Latics knows what a bunch of twats they are.
Was belting in O Neill’s that night then if I remember rightly we stopped the traffic with a rendition of ‘sit down for the champions’ outside the Raven. Prem promotion eclipsed it in Chicagos and on King Street but two memorable nights those. Roll on May!
Cook out!!3 points clear at the top (4 with GD) and 5 clear of 3rd (6 with GD) just isn’t good enough. Especially when you factor in that we have the best attack in the league, the second best defence IN THE COUNTRY and are 15 points clear of 7th place basically confirming a playoff spot already.
How this guy still has a job is beyond me.
Some of these lads on here have won championship manager FFS. Why won’t Cook listen? It’s common knowledge if you can’t score. Get two up top!
Makes me laugh the fact that this board matters to you to the point where you think folk have a problem with you! Like I would have a problem with a bloke on a football forum. Found it funny when you claimed you were in the Falklands then backed down, and then there was the time that you had an alterego for a while but ‘problem’ be a bit of an over statement. Quite a few folk on here found you a bit odd over the years but to be fair you’ve settled down recently and apart from being reactive and taking bait easily you obviously enjoy your football.
Telling you honestly as a lad brought up in Scholes that the word ‘tics’ has been around well over 20 years as far as I can remember. If you don’t like the response, don’t post!
Called us tics since 90s as have loads of lads. Get over it.
Not beaten a top ten side yet at home. Still in a great position.
To be fair to Griff be a tough ask against two blokes. One of which is a war veteran!
So a lad put us to shame who hit side netting and missed another chance. Aye. We were ripped apart.
No, dont misquote me for your own interests.
His movement and pace put our FORWARDS to shame. He went closer than any of our strikers to scoring and his movement and pace caught out Dunkley and Burn a few times. Fact.[/quote]
You can only be talking about the quick break away near the end as that was the only time they ventured forward. As for going closer to scoring than any of our strikers, that is stretching it a bit, as his shot actually went out for a throw on the opposite side. Even Toneys shooting isn’t thst bad.[/quote)
Inches away according to VAT. He’s put em to shame hitting the corner flag! There’s some beauts on here that’s for sure. This 18 has scored two goals in 49 games. Swap him for Grigg asap.
So attack the team cos your daft enough to spunk a load of money away betting on a game of football you silly sod. Comments on here are an absolute joke. We’ve not even lost a bloody game.

No ones throwing toys out, just stating the obvious. This league is shit.Even when we are not on the ball we can beat most teams but when we play the teams around us Rovers,Bradford,Shrews twice we have struggled. Not a fan of Toney but he did make a difference when he came on.This Grigg on his own with long diagonal balls was pointless he needs service from wide and they were piss poor last night.Need some pace down the flanks and striker who can put it about.I’m sure Cook will address this soon but i predicted we’d get 4pts from the 3 games so the extra point a bonus(tongue i cheek). This league is shit because we are the mighty Wigan Athletic who by rights should walk it because we have huge financial backing and massive crowds with a superb playing squad that pretty much embarrassed itself in the Championship last time out. It’s awful to think we might only hit the 100 point barrier come the end of the season with this ‘clown’ in charge.
