Please …a striker with prescence …a nippy winger ….and Colclough starting.Oh and substitutions before last 5 mins
Their number 18 tonight put Grigg and Toney to shame. Was nippy and tricky as hell, in a young Jermain Defoe kind of way. He very nearly did us, late on.
Because he got behind us once? Oh aye. Put em to shame. Couple of draws and the toys come out the pram. Pathetic our fans. Even heard boos tonight at final whistle. Cook must wonder why he bothers. Best start go a season perhaps in our history and the lads get booed for struggling to break down a couple of teams who have parked the bus.
He got behind us all night, pal.
His movement and pace was superb. Only young as well. Good player and make no mistake. Different to either Grigg or Toney. Pacy and lively. Gave defence a torrid time.
If he got behind us all night how did he not register a single shot on target? Could you show us on the highlights how many times he ‘got in’ as I must have had a blindfold on. I do remember we backed off in second half and he hit the corner flag. Again, I’m happy to be proved wrong.
Quite possibly but certainly won’t be all Billy big bollocks if I do and we lose. Asking for refunds, the Manager to be sacked and suggesting the players aren’t trying. Some of our fans are like big soft birds. Grow a pair!
I’m going to Northampton with a probable hangover on New Years Day and if we play like that again I want a bloody refund or it will be Cook out, if they can’t be arsed why should I with my hard earned money. These people for real?

In retrospect, do you regret leaving us like you did? Ruining your own career in the process?
Think it’s time to sack Cook really. 4 points clear at the top of the league and in the 3rd round of the FA cup. His antics are getting beyond a joke now!
Some right bloody big girls blouses on here!
Don’t think anyone would have a problem with that. It’s more grown men spoiling everyone else’s fun, standing in front of kids, pissing in sinks, throwing fireworks on pitch. Now I think about it Blackpool was no different. Aisles full of piss heads who came in ten past three while kids choked on a flare in second half.
I saw around 50 blokes leave the game at around 55 minute mark and asked stewards to let em out so they could have a pint (big chunk being one) when we were one out. One only has to go down to concourse ten mins before half time and after to see some blokes commitment to a good pint!
Funny this as most of lads who came in late were actually middle aged blokes (in expensive jackets granted) who sell and write cockney latic fanzine. To be fair most were at Springfield Park though quite a few crossed over from the rugby in the late mid 90s. One notably a keen status quo fan as some on here will no doubt recognise. This ‘phenomenon’ of arriving at grounds half pissed, clad in designer clothes and behaving a bit lairy is hardly new. Remember at almost every ground under Kenny Swain goon squad doing exactly the same. Fewer in numbers granted but same shit, different shovel.
Terraces always tough for young kids. I wouldn’t blame a few lads pissed up for coming in late as we’ve all done that but stewards and police all stood like lemons completely incapable of moving what was no more than 25 blokes from an area that was clearly a gangway. To be fair given the tripe on offer they didn’t miss much!
When we take a step back and see where we are in the league think most of us would have taken that before the season started.
Watched their winner back. Shambolic defending from Burn running away like that from the man with the ball and pretty poor goalkeeping.
Heard from a good source when we played Accrington lads were on all day piss up!
Toney awful, lacked any goal threat generally but not sure we deserved to lose. Burn just didn’t defend for their goal, gave the lad yards and let him have a strike at goal. Not sure of keeping but to me didn’t look too clever.
