Chelsea v United replay is now on April 1st. I guess if Chelsea win tomorrow night their potential semi will be on the Sunday as they ain’t gonna play away in Europa Thursday before a Saturday match are they?
Said it before and I’ll say it again. I’ll take Relegation and European football any day of the week. Watching the Latics in Europe would be the absolute pinnacle for me. We have done 8 years in the top league, beat every single one of em, struggled like buggery most years and most of us know it ain’t ever gonna get any better. This is perhaps the one and only chance in our history that we have a chance of winning something. If that means we drop down a division so be it! The clubs on a good financial footing to go back up any road.

Well. Looking at the glass half full. We are in the quarter final of the FA cup and with 10 games to go we aint in the bottom 3 with two winnable home games to follow. Not bad for a keeper that cant catch, a centre half thats useless, a full back thats past it, an over rated central midfielder, a fat get on the wing and a striker who hardly scores. Heres to the end of season push!

Aye but we wont get to within 3 games of winning that for sure!
2 years in the prem and a league cup win against a tinpot side is hardly overtaking us. 8 years at the top and we also got to the final. Problem is we played Man Utd not bloody Bradford City.
Aye. Despite having Suarez, Sturridge, Borini and Coutinho Liverpool are gonna spend big money on Kone. Rodgers spends money on young players for the future generally. Not journeymen in their 30s!
Alcaraz who ain’t played in months and a forward who scores around 4 a season will hardly shaft us. Personally I’ll be glad to see the back of Franco. Not sure we have room for a striker with a 1 goal in 10 goal ratio. Maloneys just signed a contract and is likely to finish his career with us whilst Kone will be around 32 when his contract ends. I wouldn’t be losing sleep!
Aye but he’s not always on that form! Costs us many a goal and is often caught out defensively. He’s a decent full back but not irreplaceable. Beausejour tenth in all season stats for assists in Premier League. Not bad for what many believe is a fat waster on the wing! If Figueroa has signed a pre contract with West Ham it’s not inconceivable he could be playing in the championship next year.
As Forest put in their sixth against Huddersfield I hope that puts Sundays win in some perspective. A Forest team we battered earlier in the season on their own ground.
A decent game against a bloody awful side doesn’t mean a starting place for me. Have been far from impressed when he has come on in the Premier league and he has offered next to nothing apart from bags of effort. Full backs in the premier league are so much quicker and get much tighter than what was on show for them yesterday.
Why would Kone not start? One game in 5 weeks can’t be ideal. I’ll be so annoyed if folk like Fyvie and Redmond start. It’s disrespectful to the fans.
