If 3000 turned up it would be the first 1400 who got their earliest and got tickets. I have no problem with that. The ethos of ‘first come first served’ happens with pretty much every major sporting event (corporates aside). Where were all these fans at Sunderland and Villa? Couldnt be bothered? Watching it on net? 1400 is about right. Why should Whelan take the risk whether our fickle fans can be bothered going or not? They aint bothered travelling all season so deserve what they get!
Win both games and we are guaranteed to stay up pretty much. Get behind the lads instead of making up songs like a big girls blouse!
Heres a tip for next time. Stop moaning. Take control and ensure your at the ticket office. Thats what the majority who got tickets did. If you couldnt be arsed or work was more important thats your call.
Was it not simple? If you wanted a ticket you should have made sure that at 9 this morning you were at the ground. Thats what the majority of the 1400 did! And for their commitment they are surely the diehard fans who made the effort in their working week to be there!
For what its worth i would imagine we will get an extra allocation but you cant complain if you didn’t make the effort.
Just read this from a West Ham fan:
‘Taking this tin pot outfit with us would be a small mercy.
In 2006, one newspaper compared them to “Girls Aloud”. Essentially, it stated that like Girls Aloud, “we dont know how they got here, or why they have succeeded, but they will eventually fall”. Girls Aloud have fallen, Wigan must fall too’.Lets prove them wrong again!
Stop panicking FFS! 4 points is pretty much guaranteed to keep us in the Prem. Some of you pessimists seem to think every result will go against us. Sunderland are unlikely to lose to Wolves at home. Wolves have only won one away match away all year and providing United (who are on fire) beat Blackburn that will do it as they cant both win their last game. What’s all this United lose when they win the title nonsense? OK they lost to West ham one season (though they battered em and could have had ten) but i cant recall em throwing too many points away.
On the other hand we play the bottom of the table side at home next week (who could be virtually down by the time we play them) and then play a tired Stoke side who will have played a cup final and a midweek game a few days before. Im not saying its not a tough ask but its far from impossible. If we cant beat West Ham at home we deserve to go down end of.
Odds of 3-1?
Thing i would change bookies. Boro were 11-2 with Ladbrokes.
So from the moment we scored to the moment they scored we didnt `sit back`?Area yer a tool fella.
You either didnt go to the game or are completely clueless. OK. Here goes. Between their goals and ours we played some great football, attacked at will and almost added to our tally on many occasions against a good Everton side. Nzogbia, then Moses twice, McCarthy had chances hence us (according to BBC stats) having 13 shots throughout the course of the game and Everton having 3 (including two penalties).
Im as disappointed with the next man with the end result but today we played well pretty much to a man. Some of the football played was outstanding and i dont see what Bobby could have done different. Im still confident we will stay up and will be enjoying the drive to Villa in my Ferarri which gives me much more status than you in your Benzo ya boring get!
4 games to go. In bottom three on goal difference. Its hardly time to start attacking the manager and team. Get behind the lads and lets continue to march on in a league we have no right to be in anyway. I cant stand armchair fans who cant wait to jump on our every defeat. We were great last week. Poor for 35 minutes this week. Thats football, this is the Premier League and we are still in with a great chance of staying up and conitinuing with the fairytale that is Wigan Athletic. We were marginally the better team up to their first goal and then worryingly did our self destruct act (which hasnt been seen for a while). Bobby is right to say it wasnt a penalty but equally it wasnt the reason we lost.
We are in a much stronger position than we were before last weeks games, none of the teams around us have won again and we have now scored 5 goals in 2 games away from home. We have also played some of our best football of the season in the last couple of months and have played with a real togetherness at times. I wouldnt like to be in the trenches with some of you men. The white flag would go up within an hour!
Gerrin to em Kelvin lad. Gerrim snottered!
Bloody footballers, bloody overpaid pansies the lot of em! How the buggery anyone can suggest this is as good as a game o clump is beyond me!

In this league you need pace or skill to unsettle defenders. This fella is slow as molasses and cant beat a man. He has a terrible work rate, cant hold up the ball, cant head the ball and hardly looks clinical in front of goal. Just where is this rapid change in fortune gonna come from? Sammon for all his 400k has shown more promise in half an hour than Boselli has in 8 games. I really hope he proves me wrong but the signs so far dont seem too promising!
In total how many goals has al habsi been at fault for now?

Since his chat with JAYT he is posting complete balanced sense day in day out. He is positive, supportive of the club and even Bobby seems to be getting a fair crack of the whip. In fact i havent disagreed with a point he has made all week! Whats changed VAT?
Is it just me or have we generally faired better on a bad pitch than a good one?
