I feel Martinez should have done the decent thing and stayed 1 more year, tried to keep the best part of the team together and had a good old pop at Europe and gained experience in that department cause he won’t feckin get it at Everton
It’s not like there’ll be no prem jobs the season after next, Jesus 10 managers aint there from the start of last season.
Cracking subject name for this thread. High School should be a nice challenger for you. Well done. And as childish as it may sound, to say losing a few players (depending if your gullible enough believe The Mirror) is nothing like the subject name suggests, and its a shame none of the mod’s have picked up on this!!
Is your name anything to do with porno’s ?? perv.
Simple question to you:
Do you believe everything you read in the Mirror?
No. But I believe everything I see in the mirror. Bob took us down and all that ‘he loves this club’ was and remains bollox. It was his job. He fooked us, now he has a better job. Fair play. That’s football. At least we won’t have to hear that post match drivel any more.
Martinez was quoted saying to Whelan , “I’ve took Wigan as far as I could” ,
wrong,
Div 1 & Div 2 would have been achievable with him in charge. He was going anyway, he just feels shiiter he couldn’t keep us up before firing off.
At least Jewell had the decency to let the chairman and fans know his intentions before the Sheff Utd game, “go down I stop”.Thanks for the Fa Cup well done , now feck off your greebo.

like I said ” paper talk” but you can’t help thinking there might be some truth in certain players still under contract following him.
nob
Looks like he is pimping himself around again, same scenario as last time
Ten out of ten for completely misreading the situation.
speculating ? ffs
Come on boys and girls Bobby did is best to pull a good team together under financial constraints that no other premier league team had. OK he got us relegated but leaves us with a legacy that includes;
1) We have won a major trophy.
2) We have shown on many occasions that we can beat all the top four teams.
3) The good people of Wigan will support their football team if they play the right way, even though they are in a relegation fight.
Thanks for the memories bobby, if you do go to Everton though I hope you get relegated! B)
if you look at it on the whole we won 38 Prem games out of a possible 152 matches. So in theory I’ve watched us not win for 3 seasons…
that make sense ??.
You do know which team you support, don’t you? It’s not Bayern Munich, we are expected to lose more than we win.
Good job you told me he had me fooled , 4yr plan my harse. And what was all that waffle about council and rush planning through ??.He said he’s took us as far as he can…………
what about Div 1 and 2 ? did he forget ?
Everton – about to lose some key players, very hard to maintain and virtually impossible to improve on 6th place, limited money to spendThis statement really pishes me off !! Everton no money ? compared with who ??
If you look at the cost of some of the players Moyes brought in over his 10 years he spent some serious dosh !.
They’ll never match the spending of the bigger and arab/russian owned clubs but compared with the majority of teams in the UK their not doing too bad.

that make sense ??.Jones or someone from Spain. We need to push this culture that we have.Martinez’s mum ??
I’ve never crouched at the end of the bed and preyed for anything in my life before but I’ve just been upstairs , knelt and preyed to every God out there that it ain’t Coyle.
I never trust anyone who sniggers at the end of every sentence, definitely a dodgy geeza.
Bookies make ex Utd coach FAV :-
Rene Meulensteen 9/4 FAVSo Whelan says it is not about money with Roberto, he wants assurances about training and academy facilities, etc.Whelan says he needs time to ensure he can deliver on anything he promises Roberto in this regard, which is why the decision is adjourned until Monday.
What can’t Whelan guarantee delivery on at the moment, ie what doesn’t rely on him simply putting his hand in his pocket? Because if it was just a question of money, he would simply cough up, would he not? Planning permission for the new training ground, that’s one thing that is currently not in his gift. Would you like to be the council member responsible for Martinez leaving the club by refusing planning permission on the new training ground?
I suggest that this is a political charade being played out by Whelan and Bob, decided to deliver the training ground decision quicker than it might ordinarily have arrived. It wouldn’t be the first time.
Bob to be confirmed as staying on as Wigan manager sometime next Monday, would be my bet.
Yep you got that one slightly wrong …………….ffs
So he says he’s off but don’t they have to sort some compensation out ? . Didn’t DW get stung by Swansea when we got Martinez in ?. I can’t see DW giving him away on a freebie after having to fork out to get him.
Jamie Carragher for me and start defending again !!.
