That is a good reason for you to stay in the bar grumpy
A fondle of hugs
That would be very awkward indeed, Bolton beat Rotherham and reading and millwall, perhaps we should be hoping they survive
Nice that today, enjoyable
When I first started posting on here I often thought that vat got a bit of a raw deal, but this one has changed my mind, not sure how you can takes some sort of pleasure or satisfaction about our team losing or being in danger of relegation. We are clearly in the mix and need something to turn round for us. I don’t think that cooks removal would be reactionary you simply have to look at the points trend and project that forward, the challenge of course is whether it would make a difference if he went or not, and unfortunately non of us know that. We also need to attract someone who could turn it round and really for me only big Sam would fit the bill, but I cannot see that happening, not a chance. In the meantime whilst cook is there he and the team need support. I was in Barcelona with work last night and took the opportunity to go to the match last night, Andy the crowd got really twitch at 2-1 despite looking comfy, even at that level the crowd turns.
Is this a first? People in agreement and being civil to each other?! My mate is going after boycotting for ages, he is delighted.
An added bonus for me is they have opened the road up next to Heinz!
What felt like an ok point feels less good on the Rotherham and reading results. Not that bad today with a strong performance from James in midfield. The other results make a result a bit more important on Tuesday, we could do with something from Derby.
I think Fox has been a good signing. Clarke worked harder than last week but we remain powderpuff up top.We had a good start and looked comfortable then started to let them have opportunities at the back post with a spare man finding space. Then what looked like a con of a penalty (not seen it on tv so happy to be wrong). After that it wAs always going to be tough breaking them down as the sat and defended.
I had several frustrations;
Their play acting
Our unwillingness to run to the bye line and cross
The lack of urgency towards the end
Leon Clarke appearing to wear my boots instead of his own
Powell didn’t appear to know we were losing and had a very rusty game
On the positive side we came back to gain a point from a losing position and no one else gained any points on us, with millwall and Bolton losingSoft pen and since then sideways slow frustrating stuff
I find the hostility to him a bit surprising, I think he is a a decent player, no world breather, but none of our players are. I have never felt let down by him, and have certainly seen worse performances from windass , Evans, Naismith, and all of our strike force.
Injuries prove that you need players that can step up when the likes of Jacobs is injured as he would start ahead of him in my book, but when he has come in he has been reliable. If we didn’t extended them we would have to replace him, so the question for me would be who with and how much would it cost compared to simply extending a contract.
A reasonable if not sexy move in my bookI forgot to say thanks for pointing out!
I have the same experience egg, always works when I do it, it is rare though as I have season tickets
Well he has scored, they will flow now bet he get 10 to 15 for them this season
That would be Double You, terrible song
