My quid on this is that everyone thinks it is a disgrace, unless it happens to your own kid, at which point very few say no and most get very excited.
The first half performance was excellent, dominated it, really good attacking football. Great to watch. Bit cold today!
I really don’t understand the Whelan bashing. I look where we where, where we are, and what we have achieved in between and find it fantastic. If he has made a few quid from it, then good for him.
on the wigan observer site it says we got a 30 or 40% sell on clause, there are also quotes from Sharpe about not selling without sell on clauses. worth a read. The article reckons that the cash we got from this has paid for our transfer activity this window. Articles words not mine.
