Spot on Nuneaton – having also followed AFC Wimbldeon over recent years, I’ve found that it doesn’t matter which division you’re in – if your team is winning and near top, the feeling is exactly the same whether you’re in the blue square prem or Barclays prem.
Regarding whether it’s 4, 7 or 13 – I actually prefer thinking about it as a 4 horse race for 17th as there are then much fewer variables for my poor brain to agonise over!
Sometimes you need to take a step back to make a leap forward.
Apparently Kone is on his way back and may feature in the Chelsea game if he isn’t suffering any side affects from travelling. If he gets side effects from an 18 hour first class flight, with zero time difference, following 3 weeks sat on his backside I’ll eat my match ticket!
Adam – there’s a few of us London based tics that will be at the game, following our (last?) annual pub crawl to Stamford Bridge from my house in SW London. You’re welcome to join us for the crawl either from the start or en route. When and where do you get in to London? Send me a PM if you’re interested.
Going to be a very interesting game on Saturday. Chelsea have slipped up 4 times in the Prem against bottom clubs in the last 4-5 weeks, as well as against Brentford. Can we do the same?
Based on the close results at the Bridge over the last 2 seasons and out recent rescued draws my heart says yes…but my head says they won’t slip up again (and we won’t give them much cause to) and that Rafa will still be in a job come Sunday morning.
4 – 4 – fcukin 2!!
Use the striker you’ve had on the bench since the start of the year for 90min rather than 1.
12.5 m
Samba to qpr.
Wrong. Hope they go bust. Not only that, but apparently he’s on £100,000 per week.
Mental.
My only criticism is, when you attack from wide we need more bodies bursting a testy to get into the box. Time after time you see crosses flying in and 1 man alone in the middle or the wide man having to turn back cause there’s no one to aim for.If we can sort that then I have a feeling goals will come .
Spot on bing. We need to start Henriquez up front with Franco on Saturday. Since Kone went to Africa we’ve not replaced him with another striker and that has been costing us chances as we’re not getting enough players in the box.
Or even joint 17th?

What about true old skool?
There’s nothing quite like
A well formed Haiku.(Of course that would have been much more impressive had I actually written a Haiku!)
Does that quota include season long loans? If so, we’d have to send Ryo back before we got another loan in (which is prob not a bad thing seeing as he’s continually injured).
Or, can we take an emergency loan just like with goalkeepers?
My gripe is about fergie and his constant moaning and intimidation of officials,as for pen decisions, they go for you or againstWho cares? We only play em twice a year and don’t expect anything from those games anyway. And all other times he does it it should work in our favour, right?
We’re not second bottom for a reasonHmm, clearly your ubiquitousness doesn’t stretch to sequitur. I think you’ll find that there are plenty of reasons why we’re second bottom .
