Irrespective of the league position I think if you can’t get giddy about WIGAN ATHLETIC playing in an F.A cup final then it’s time for an emotion transplant !!!!!

Callum is the key..off the leash. No Di Santo for me ,we need goals and he doesn’t provide.Kone now needs to make his chances count. Wigan 2-0 win for me …please .

All preoccupied with predicting other teams results when the reality is we can’t win our games at the moment.Bet everyone saw Sunderland beating Everton and Newcastle or Villa stuffing Stoke and Sunderland. Two weeks ago it was Stoke who were heading for the drop but back to back wins and they pull away.In the meantime we have harvested 2 pts out of last 12 and along with the 2 below us can’t buy a win.We just have to go out and try to win our games and instead of waiting for it to happen MAKE it happen. If we do that then we give ourselves a chance as I think there will be a twist or two yet.

Can you post me the menu from the drinking establishment where i can feed and water myself all day for a fiver .The reality is you can realistically make that a £60-£75 day out unless I grab a 6 pack of fruit shoots and get my mother-in-law to do me a lunch box.

How’s about not being able to afford West Brom……AND..2 trips to wembley with 2 kids out of nearly one months pay .As much as I love my football we grown ups do have other priorities ,so enjoy the day and don’t label us non supporters just because you are in a position of untold financial wealth or …..living at mum’s yet !

Still hope yet but a slim one at that.I’m afraid we’ve danced with the relegation devil once too often and no one can really blame bad luck, injuries on our season long plight. Some people harp on about another great relegation escape but for me if we do drop then early season failings like the sequence of games from beginning of Nov to early Jan where we played 12 games ,won 3 drew 1 and lost 8 paved the way to where we are now.We have struggled for 3 seasons to score the goals our sometimes eye candy play deserves and the last few premiership games have highlighted that once again.Second half at West Ham,against 10 men at Qpr,outplayed City and should have done Spurs. The one player who has shown a goalscoring coolness is Macmanaman with superb under pressure finishes against Huddersfield, Everton,Millwall,Spurs.A lad who i don’t think grasps how good he actually is and plays with a freshness, and a no fear attitude. If we are to give these last 4 games a real go then for me it is imperative that you play him from the start and give him the freedom to take the game to the opposition and should we drop then here we have one player who can massively aid a swift return. In fact i’ll go as far to say he could set the Premiership alight never mind the championship.Anyway 10 pts and were safe ….no problem..bye bye Newcastle.

As we all know winning games is about hitting the net and the games at Qpr,Weat Ham and city proved the point.Villa did what they had to do.

Not going to apportion any blame for Saturday, thought it was a great performance all round.Granted the 1st keystone cops goal was an early kick in the nuts ,but we responded immediately .Would have took a point before but came out feeling p****d off as with the City game it could have been so much more.Di Santos chance at City and 2 great opportunities Kone had in the 2nd half to make it 3-1 we just don’t get the goals our play credits. Was Macmanaman injured or knackered because I found the substitution odd.Just hope Sunderland can nail Villa tonight and put us nearer an adult pamper wearing final day shoot out.

As in the city game and 2nd half at West Ham we will have a lot of the ball and are more than capable of frustrating Spurs ,just got to convert the few chances we get.I try not to get pre-occupied by how other teams might fair, just get results in ours and see where it takes us.2-1 home win for me .

Put the ball in the opposition net is still our main aim……I think !

Duncan Sharp was such a sad loss obviously to his loved ones but also to the club,a real Wigan supporter who would have been an excellent successor .

Our next game has to be a win only, can’t rely on getting out by losing against Spurs as the West Brom /Swansea are no givens !!

Nothing to do with luck.Had our share recently, macmanaman non- sending off and handball goal against newcastle. As for Qpr how were we unlucky there ? Played against 10 men for 2/3rds of the game and failed to make it count. There will be a few twists yet so its nowhere near over but I have a horrible feeling those toe rags down the road might fail to put Villa away tonight.I agree with previous poster that its a win only Saturday the time for expecting other results to go our way well and truly over as proved this weekend.
