Its taken till almost the end of the year, but I think this takes the prize for the most pointless post of 2019.
Lighten up, miserable cant.
Isn’t that a bit like Chubby Brown telling somebody to stop swearing?

You need to do better than that donny/jeff.
One thing Cook seems to have is his share of luck and no doubt he will pull a win from the hat on saturday to buy more time and silence the doubters again.
The performance by Latics last night was not the best but again they were met with an indifferent side who were taking us very lightly and 3 points should have been won in my opinion.
same old story.
The attitude of the players near the end was appalling as they seemed to be accepting a late goal would go in and had no intentions of pushing forward to grab a goal of our own.
massive faults in this current Latics team , arguably one of the worst of the past 20 seasons in my view.Taking us lightly? Piss off. It really does stick in some people’s throat when it comes to giving us any credit. No denying we’ve been mainly crap for a while now, but credit where it’s due, we took on Millwall at their own game and came away from there with a point more than both Leeds and Preston managed and with bit of good fortune it could have been 3. It wasn’t stylish but we looked more effective than we have for a while.
As for the players attitude at the end, in case you hadn’t noticed (more likely conveniently ignored) after our substitutions and change of shape we had more chances than the home team. Garner had a decent chance, MacLeod shot straight at the keeper, Robinson shot wide and their defender cleared one off the line from directly under the bar.
And before the rose tinted/happy clapper “insult” gets dragged out, I have admitted above that we have been pretty crap a lot of the time this season. But I refuse to wear dark tinted specs just as I refuse to wear rose tinted ones. I make my judgement on what I see, not what I’ve already decided.
A point gained by going for the three. Shame he had to settle for the point when the negative substitutions kicked in on 67 minutes. We didn’t exactly shut up shop though. Garner had a decent chance. Robinson shot over. McLeod shot straight at the keeper and we restricted them at the same time.
Everybody that has been shouting for 442 should be happy with tonight’s team news.
There is no other bunch of supporters in world football that have had a fairytale like we have yet we have all these supposed diehards throwing wobblers because the going is tough. Grow a pair and stop acting like spoilt kids.
You obviously have too much time on your hands and not enough to occupy your mind.
That’s not strong leadership. It’s lily livered, pathetic, knee jerk pandering to mob.
If our board, past and present, listened to our fans Whelan would have been gone 10 years ago. Martinez would have been sacked before we got to the greatest day in our history. We’d have £10 season tickets and free admission with a pie thrown in for good measure and a succession of sacked managers and owners because we hadn’t spent millions on players.
Especially here, football supporters are the last people that should be swaying club policy.
A bit of a risk but could be worth getting in Michael Flynn with an experienced old head as his assistant.
There are plenty of people on social media that seem to think that Vat. Plenty of posts every week how we should be beating sides like a, b and c.
I read plenty as well about him being a Liverpool fan. What has that got to do with anything?
Its nothing to do with our club, being honest. But I dont think he has helped himself at times during his tenure with us. As a manager, drinking pints at fans forums and things…dare I say it wasnt something most managers would do? It would be water or a soft drink. He has tried to come across as ‘one of the lads’, which is great when you are winning, but not so great when you are struggling. People then use these things to have a pop. Thats just society.
Yeah I can see that but like you say, in League One it was great now its not.
As for Warnock, I just don’t believe we can realistically afford him.
I’ve met McCall and honestly, he is a really good bloke, and a great football man.
Like Paul Cook then.
Do you expect him to say they are crap and we’ll stuff them? It’s what he says to the players that is important. Paper talk is tomorrow’s fish and chip wrapping. Disposable and inconsequential.
It’s been a while since you last posted that message. The message is always the same. Just the name changes every couple of years. If he does go no doubt in 12 or 18 months you’ll post it again.
Preston spent virtually nothing and scoring for fun.3 against us,2 at Swansea 4 at Bradford and another 3 last night. Blackburn again spent little and Tuesday another 1 nil win with another clean sheet to boot. Puts into perspective how poor we have been in last 4 games. Need something at QPR or he’s in real doo doo and I for 1 cannot see past a comfortable home win.Blackburn spent as much on 1 player as we did on Lowe and Moore combined. They also signed Stewart Downing and my Blackburn supporting colleague says they are paying him in excess of 20 grand a week. So don’t worry they are spending plenty. The same colleague also says every game they’ve played has been dire and that the clean sheets have been more by good luck than design. This fan isn’t by any means a doom and gloom merchant.
See you next week.
