Gibson was MoM for me today. His 1st touch passes were excellent. Always made himself available for the ball.

Robinson gave him a run for MoM. If he carries on like that he will be the best left back we have had since Baines. Not only can he cross a ball he can do it with both feet.

Byrne first half had a stinker

I thought Byrne had a reasonable game today. If you had said Burn had a stinker I would have agreed with you. A lot of sloppy passes today and his failure to dominate a long ball just outside our box led to their goal. Morsey didn’t cover himself in glory with the quality of a lot of his passes today either.
I thought the ref did more to spoil the party than anybody else.
The 2nd half was a much better performance and their keeper made 2 brilliant saves to deny us certain goals.

If I was Sanchez I would screw Arsenal up by staying till June then get a monstrous signing on fee from one of the clubs desperate to sign him.

If he tried that and I was the chairman at Arsenal I would send home on gardening leave for the rest of the season denying him all accesss to traing facilities.

Referees might get demoted to lower divisions but I doubt that they will lose their professional status and job. That would be unfair dismissal as the would have to had have a previous written warning.

in reply to: Ground policing costs #161145
When you see that West Ham only paid £33k for policing over the cost of the entire 16/17 season (average attendance almost 57k), it makes you understand just why Dave Whelan was so hacked off with Wigan GMP’s charging when you think that as far back as 2005 they charged the club over half of West Ham’s current annual policing budget just to police one game against Cardiff with an attendance of 9000 on!!!

Well some people (West Ham fans) think they are God’s gift to football, the sole reason England won the World Cup and have a divine right to flout all rules and get away with it.

Just seen on a tweat and Nob End have been given a FULL allocation of 4700 seats.
I must be missing something here as the North and South Stands both hold 5400 so why the reduced capacity. 700 x £25 would come in handy for our club so what is going on and why?

The 700 seat shortfall is because the front 3 or 4 rows and the 1/2 column to the east of the stand are secured from use by netting for security reasons. I can’t ever see them changing the policy on that for a local derby.

Why do people keep going on about waiting till the January window so he can bring in players that fit his style of play? These are not children but a squad of adult, experienced professionals. As such they should be capable of playing in the style that the manager instructs. I think it unlikely that any professional player would deliberately go out and play contrary to their mangers instructions. So either the manager’s tactics are the problem or the players are just not good enough. You watch the games and make up your own mind.

I am sorry but there was never any point during the march when Max power could be described as ‘having a cracking game’

58% possession, 13 attempts at goal – only 3 on target. Nothing changes!

but what he does is hold the ball up really well and bring others into the game.

I feel that a lot of the critism of MAF in the past has been excessive but today I feel he deserves it. I lost count of the number of times after his 1st touch a Leeds player got between him and the ball. But all the blame cannot be put on him. Boyce had a poor game, Perch was lost in midfield, and not one player could head a ball properly.

Recent events at the DW have finally explained the real reason behind our lacklustre displays this season.

Trent – so unless they stay at Wigan putting in a shift they can’t win right? If she doesn’t drown she’s a witch, if she does drown at least we know she wasn’t.

The witch could have stayed at home and kept her house in good order. If it turns out that they don’t do well then at least we will have won by letting them go.

The truth will out. If they start putting in MOM performances and get rave reviews from the fans at their new clubs then we will know they were malingerers. If not we will know that most of us were right in that they were just sh*te.

Listening on Latics Player there was at least one occasion where he totally ignored the liner waving for a Bolton player offside though no advantage came to us.

Only just listened to the post match interview. I would like to know which optitian MM goes to because I would like some of those rose tinted glasses he is wearing. At least some managers do accept that their team have not played well when they have lost, this man is living in cloud cuckoo land.
