Running the day to day business of the club may wellbecome very difficult if another wages deadline passes without payment.
Instead of messing about overseas they need to get on to the EFL and explain this situation very quickly as it may be unlikely the club will be able to fulfil its fixtures or the liquidity problem continues.
I always thought ‘crisis money ‘ was available for situations like this from PFA and golden share.A second half performance that reminded me of the old Latics teams.
Fight and graft and as the game wore on they looked like they might nick a winner.
Our strikers seem to lack the belief though in taking shots at the goal and so many half chances were wasted , a huge fault this season , that lack of cutting edge.
However these lads haven’t been paid but game is gave their all for the club today and it’s a pity the owners don’t do the same for them.
Bigger things going on off the pitch though but at least we gained a point and have something to be pleased about.Should have played Lang and Asgaard and Wyke from start as only looked livelier from that point in second half.
Coventry were there for the taking but absolutely zero quality up front so cannot score goals.
It’s done for , might as well just try and go for it with the players above playing every week.
Hopefully issues off the pitch get sorted and a fresh start in L1 next year with a mid table mediocrity season being welcomed to build the team sensibly.
A club to support is all I am bothered about and maybe just maybe spoil a few dreams if we can before end of this season.
A big result against Those horrible monks chanting cockneys would be one on the list.100 % but only on credit card in view of recent developments.
Very difficult to remain positive , late payment of wages is grim stuff in any workplace and usually only goes one way.10101
Just been the headline on BBC local news so now out in the open.
Beyond worryingWhy don’t they convert the more redundant space into facilities businesses could use daily as the car parking facilities are fantastic.
Loads of businesses use football stadiums for big conference facilities and given the transport links surely the stadium would be very popular.
Selling players is another Avenue we need to go down and youth players are the main way to do this.
Club is perfectly positioned to snatch all the reject youth players from the big four clubs nearby.
One good player sold each year would keep club breaking even possibly. Why don’t they convert the more redundant space into facilities businesses could use daily as the car parking facilities are fantastic.

One good player sold each year would keep club breaking even possibly. They looked dispirited and played that way throughout the game last night.
Not once did I feel they would breach a very very ordinary WBA side who looked two leagues above Latics last night.
6 points adrift and absolutely no chance of staying in this division , another relegation , 5th in 10 years, getting rather p****d off with it now !!
Something is very wrong with this bunch and the sooner the better summer comes and the expected clear out the better.72% possession , 2 corners and only 3 shots on target ?
Says everything about where the problems in the team are.
Boring to watch isn’t the word and the faults in the team remain and won’t be corrected unless major changes are made.Shocking first half performance , so bad that I wandered into the concourse for a beer well before the finish.
Tip tappy back and forth in our own half and as negative as you could have got and all when a goal behind.
Better second half but the fact remains we have about as much cutting edge as a polystyrene dagger and no amount of coaching or throwing teacups around is going to change that.Keep hoping for the turnaround but just can’t see it despite recent improvement in form.
Can only do so much with this lot and I am afraid they had better start planning for league 1 next season because that is where we are going in my opinion.
Saturday was a golden opportunity and we didn’t take it , everybody’s whipping boy at this level and I’m expecting the same on Saturday.
Sorry to be so negative .need the win tomorrow now massively , no more , no less!
Rotherham beating Blunderland 2-0
Adrift by 4 if that stays the same ,absolute must win now on SaturdayThree sitters missed is all we hear but we forget how good those saves were from their goalkeeper.
End of the day SM has to treat every game like a cup final and play with same intensity which will catch one or two out i think.
PNE is a massive game and a huge opportunity , big away following , has to be 3 points this saturday ! -
