Chavvy little scrotes chucking flares about , beyond embarrassment!!!!!!
Where the f have these clowns sprung from? Here we go again Ffs
Been here before haven’t we ?Always some little toe rag acting up these days, they need filling in old Skool style
Was he one of ours or theirs?not getting carried away as our record at buying strikers is beyond abysmal. Seem to remember de Lort ,rierra , holt and bosselli came in with glorious track records then failed to deliver.
At least he is young and must be hungry for success and this one smacks of a duke type signing so I’m optimistic.
Let’s get sharp in and try to keep waghorn as cover and throw one of the kids in.
At last some positive vibes and much needed after the disaster of last season.
Up the ticsonly two seasons in the last 9 have we seen anything other than relegation battles which to me represents a very steady decline which i cannot see ending.
Until we see a change in the policy the club follows then i see more of the same next year and i think more departures are very likely.
Alleged fight promoter style talk is about getting 100 points next year (pigs with wings if that happens under the present regime)and we are going to batter league 1.
All good stuff when you trying to flog season tickets but we all know what they likely reality is dont we?
A clearout of any player on high wages, inadequate replacements and last minute failed attempts when the window closes in August but no doubt successful player sales of anyone left that is worth any money or loan fees.
It doesnt look good whichever way you look at it and my expectation for next year is a squad made up of cheap signings and development squad players.
League 1 is a very mean league and if the scenario above is the case then its league 2 next year or a very serious relegation battle at least.
All we are getting from now is talk about who is leaving rather than who is arriving.
The team that took 6 seasons to get out of this division between 1997 and 2003 had a very heavy investment and that is certainly not going to happen this time in my opinion.
There is an even bumpier ride ahead in my opinion however the apathy from our supporters is staggering and can only mean they took up with Latics post 2005.I am not sure how serious they are taking the clubs current plight-has the reality of it kicked in FFS???
I am very angry about the situation we could easily have avoided-no more to be said!Snatch their effin hands off – 100% effort and a great engine but I see players in my weekly 5 a side torture with more ability on the ball thn him.
I am all in favour of trimming our wage bill and bringing in hungry driven players from other league one / two clubs and returning to the transfer policy that got us up there in the first place.
We may be down here for years so we have to face reality – bye bye james you did your best but you should have taken up rugby union you would have been a revelation !Middlesborough were totally outclassed on Monday and he hardly set the world alight against a very very good Norwich side.
At least we now know what his intentions are and so I say get rid if we can and bring in a good young player in the mould of an Ellington or Roberts that would be fine if not then a youth team player would do for me over him any day of the week.
BTW that impression of Dyche was brilliant – I doubt we will have any takers.Would rather see a new pitch, decent investment in the team, a long term plan regarding a youth policy and a strategy for when the parachute money dries up.
I have seen the statues for past legendary players like Dixie Dean and Tom Finney and rightfully so as they are both probably in the top ten all time players list but a football chairman?Get rid of the black trim and you have a decent design there.
Blackpool, Fleetwood, Rochdale, Oldham and Bury for derbies next year. Strewth, is that how for we have fallen. Just can’t believe it!
Out of that lot, are Bury now your big local Derby?[/quote]
at least we can laugh at things which is more than your soft bastar ding bunch can do leaving at half time every week when a goal is conceded.
Can only guess how many managers Blunderland will get through next season.I liked him and wish him well .
To be honest I’m not sure that ground would have coped to visits from bigger clubs who now frequent the conference and also the big issue of whether to go full time or not.
the local OB would have had their hands full dealing with some of the unruly elements that would have showed up to that village like town of theirs had they reached the conference .Rochdull – brilliant!!!!
will have to think up a few more for this division!
Not depressed any more but tired of celebrating failure, watched that preston game yesterday and it was dreadful.A few years ago ,2010 to be precise I was lucky enough to be in New York and sat nicely in a bar chewing the fat to some American Latics fans who knew all about the club.
This was due to our worldwide profile at the time by being in the top flight.
When you have achieved that level of profile it is very difficult to get excited about fleet wood and burton at home and I cannot understand the mentality of people who think it is acceptable for a club with a huge turnover to get relegated so quickly.
It took 8 years to get out of the lower divisions last time and may take a lot longer now!
Far harder to take when you have eaten at the top table and it could have been avoided so easily. -
