Well, To be honest, It was because it WAS a sending off offence. I said it as soon as it happened as im sure many people did. Can i ask as to why it made a difference what league they are from?

When we get tonked off Man Utd every year and we usually have penalty shouts e.t.c e.t.c, Why do people never say, “Well its only Wigan, Why not let them have a penalty because we will beat them anyway”?
He started promisingly when he first came in for Edman, I think now he is playing his best in a much preferred LCB role but bloody hell for the past few seasons at LB he has been god awful.

My scenario is, If UTD win the Champions League, Fergie will step aside so Mourinho can take over. If Fergie doesn’t step down, Mancini will be sacked and Mourinho will go to City. Possibly Moyes to Chelsea for the Martinez thing to happen.

For the record, Carrick is nowhere near world class. So a footballer who operates in midfield can pass a ball and he is world class. Nah. Denny Landzaat was an extremely good passer of the ball but looked out of place in the 2006 long ball up to Heskey squad. If Landzaat was Carrick’s age he would fit better in United’s squad, And neither are world class.
That bracket is held by a handful of players and there are only a couple in this country.(none of them English)

Nah, He is one of those United players they get from time to time that get carried by the rest of the team. Butt, P Neville, Gibson, Sharpe, Carrick, Richardson, Bellion, Kleberson, Manucho, Djemba Djemba, Obertan. Put those type of player in any other side and they look extremely average and soon disappear.
Southampton today were unbelievable for a team in their position. Chasing balls, closing down, winning the 50/50’s, creating chances, but hey guess what, they got the same one point as we did. yes we did, And i applauded Niel Gregory’s goal, I applauded their team off and i applauded their fans. The difference then was we knew Jewell was going through his transitional period in his first season. Not 4 seasons after and another cup debacle.
