The sun is shining….a perfect day for a few renditions of the club anthem

    Dark clouds over Rotherham apparently!

These are great times for England, after years of frustration and under performance.
The manager must be given a lot of credit for the way we’re playing…without fear

Keep going at this rate and in 2020 Football may well be coming home :woohoo:

France in the semis then Germany in the final anyone (at Wembley as well!)?

Goalkeeping howler of all howlers! You know they’re going down with luck like that!

I missed it live as I was watching what the Neanderthals were up to, Just saw Powell roll it in. Seen it now on Sky Score App thingy made my night.

Absolute scum though. From 50 yards away looking like a copper got punched down the stairwell in the North stand. Looked like it was kicking off on the bridge outside before close of play as well. Hope all our peeps are ok!

We simply must win the next two home games to give us any chance of staying up .

Our survival strategy seems to rely on at least three other teams being even worse !

After Bolton and Brentford games, how many points from Bristol, Hull, Norwich, Leeds, Preston and Birmingham? At the moment anything more than zero looks like a bonus.

The last rites will be played out on 5th May. For once I’m not sorry I’ll be 1000 miles away enjoying a glass or two of Bordeaux.

That’s the Dark Side talking. We are Wigan and we will find a way out of this mess! Come on chaps, the revival starts Saturday at Bolton’s expense!

Stay out of the bottom 3 we’ll be reet

If we drop into the bottom 3 we’ll go down

Glad to be proved wrong

If you had offered me a point before kick off I’d have taken it.

Good point but shame with some of the other results.

Really could do with something on Tuesday but how likely is that after Derby’s hammering today?

Next Saturday at Reading really is the epitome of “must not lose”

I fear for us if we drop into the bottom 3. We don’t look capable of staying up by ourselves, we’re relying on 3 others being worse.

Time to keep the faith, we’ll find a way through it :woohoo:

4 games unbeaten isn’t relegation form.

This season was always about survival and that’s what we’ll do; keep the faith.

God we make it hard though. I hate this tippy tappy pass it around stuff…in this league get it in the Box as often as possible..something will happen!

It’s time for Paul Cook to leave the club before it gets any worse.

Losing to a shockingly bad Ipswich is the last straw for me. If you can’t at least get a point there you’ve no chance at far better clubs
The Championship is a level too far for him.

    Get a grip please….

Yes the away form has been baffling, frustrating, shocking at times…BUT

This season was always going to be about surviving after the yo yo’s of recent times. If you’d offered me 16th place after 22 games at the start of the season I would have taken it like a shot B)

We’ll be reet this season…in Cook we trust :woohoo:

Trying to decide who our best ever player is keeps me awake at night ;)

Hardly surprising they’ve sold more ST’s by this date than in recent years is it?

They brought the initial deadline forward to 31st May when it used to be end of June

For me, number 3 is the “goal” that wasn’t given against Northampton.

Discussed on here at the time, some said goal, some said no goal…the ref said no so that’s the end of it.

Here’s the extract from the club website…

Colclough went close in injury time before Morsy’s shot appeared to cross the line after striking a post but the referee waved play on before blowing the final whistle seconds later.

A controversial decision which didn’t cost us. Last season that would have happened at 0-0 in a must win game or 0-1 in a must not lose. For me, that was the moment I became convinced this would be a lucky season

    Excellent news!

    Couple of points to ponder….

    1. Will he be gone before December? (2018)
    2. Hope he got a £1m+ bonus clause for promotion…

    Yes just heard about SAF.

They’re saying the surgery has gone well but obviously a very serious situation and wish him all the best.

But the games are not on TV or have you seen a listing of where the matches are being aired.

1 game will be live on Sky, just not announced yet.

At a guess either us or Northampton/Oldham. They will be waiting for Scunny result tonight before they decide.
