It gets reviewed every 14 days, so if you all really want to get back in the stadium, do what you have been told to do for the last 3 months – stay the fuck inside.
Wigan’s covid rate has been ridiculously high since mid-September.
Absolutely no social distancing going on in Wigan. Supermarkets are still a family day out rather than 1 person per household and as for only being able to meet 1 other person
Granted they might check it over, but just because they say yes doesn’t mean the EFL will as it isn’t their remit to do so.
We don’t know how long these guys have been around. They could have been looking through yhe data room, doing their due dilligence and putting their bid together making sure everything was in place.
According to big Gerry, the Spanish got the keys to the data room Monday and put a bid through on Wednesday (Days may be wrong but you get the idea). You can’t put a business proposal together in 2 days that is 100% spot on and clearly from the way this is dragging out they haven’t done.
I still don’t believe that if they were no issues the EFL would be dragging this out just for the laugh.
They have provided proof of funds for the next two seasons and beyond.They have shown the cash ,it’s the EFL that are stalling.
Only if they run the club with 3 staff, 4 players and an apprentice.

Sheridan is poor, but again who would want to come in given the situation?
His antics at HT in ET were poor, but in his defence we seem to concede after he has spoken to them at the break so maybe that was his plan b??

I agree that he looked utter gash though, but then again so did everyone except the lad who was playing out right (Crankshaw – I think)
Serious question – how far do you think you’ll drop before you start to rise again (ie, do you think you’ll stay up, and if not, do you think you’ll come straight back up)?
I thought Crankshaw was excellent but we didn’t get him on the ball enough.
We will more than likely be relegated. We have to totally reset the situation.

We literally have 11 players. Jones, Naismith, Palmer, Otobar and the 2 centre backs didn’t play today.
Our squad is made up of kids and players nobody wants.
The commentary team made it sound like they hae come from behind to beat Liverpool at Anfield today. They beat 10 men, 6 or 7 of which were kids.
Yes we should have held on as a L1 club, but we are only that in name.

Who replaces Sheridan? Leam Richardson didn’t want the job, and we aren’t in a position to offer any form of substantial contract.
Massey was terrible today.
Again though, at 11v11 they aren’t in the game. If we hold them out for 15-20 minutes after half time we probably win the game. Instead (yet again) we concede inside 5 minutes and give them even more of a lift. Amd then we did it AGAIN in extra time.
Our levels of concentration are terrible and we are starting to concede the same schoolboy goals as we did last season. Granted half our team are actually schoolboys this season.
They weren’t even in it 11v11.
Once we went down to 10 men there was only one winner.
Canvey Island was probably a worse defeat than this, but the fact it’s Chorley doesn’t help.
Isn’t McGurk only 17? Bringing him into a team that is getting battered every week won’t do him any good. We need as much experience in the side as possible. Sadly, they are all L2 players on L2 wages.
Richardson has asked for help. He doesn’t want the job at the moment. Who is available, on our budget and willing to sign a weekly contract is the big sticking point. The same with buying and selling players, we aren’t exactly in a position to pick and choose who we want.
Not bad, only took six games and two years to cheat their way to a win!
