To be fair though, the biggest part of any parachute money for them must be gone by now, they sell their main goal scorer to QPR and they unearth two more for little or no money . (Where would we be now with just ONE striker who could score 20+ in a season ?)

Regardless of how few injuries they have had, they’ve got this far losing only 5 games…. with a relatively small squad…..They’ve got a good manager too.

      Fair play I reckon

Indeed….. Provided he has intelligent players in front of him who are prepared to make themselves mobile, he’ll be plenty good enough !

He’ll continually get caught on the ball however if they stand rooted in the shadow of a defender with a gormless expression on their chops

He’d look far better in the Premier than he did last time round if Rosler created a team full of vey fit, willing runners…..he gets caught on the ball mostly because he’s holding it, waiting for one of the statues to come to life !
We finally started playing and dominating over the last 25 minutes and he was always on the ball and running the team. He did exactly the same at Forest. He is the most important component of the team

Can anyone confirm whether internet ticket ordering makes it possible to select blocks/seats ?

Last year Semi Finals were bought by my sister in law on line and apparently she was only able to select price category…..hence we ended up low down and pissed wet through….although winning the SF obviously made up for that somewhat :)

So I queued up for the final tickets on the first Sunday morning….was there all day and got better but not ideal seats…..and I was subsequently told that internet orders were able to select their seats ! (I was well brassed off !)

Anyroad…..same script this year or what ?…..anyone know ?

I bet you wish you were struggling to see any cricket !!

Are the locals making the odd mention of it. ?
I persevered last night until they were 24-5 and stormed to bed sulking.

As for today I’m looking forward to a Cup match for the first time in years, freed from the Premier League disregard for the early cup rounds especially.

I’m really enjoying this season but ultimately hoping we somehow sneak into a promotion position…. Taking us straight back to the ‘purgatory’ from which we’ve just escaped……Odd eh ?

Probably, but given we have no out and out strikers worthy of the name. I’m not sure he was ‘spoiled for choice’ ?

Mark Robins ?? Given the relegation threatened rabble we beat in the FA Cup last season, he now looks to be turning them into a good side ( and one that won at Bolton last night which is no bad thing)

We need someone who can (broadly) follow the style that Martinez had us playing. Yes we too often weren’t good enough at executing it but watching any successful side today they play in a similar way.
I was never sure what style we were trying to play under Owen Coyle but it sure as Hell wasn’t working.

That’s a tad early for Oscar, WGTB ….

Anyroad as irritating as American English is (especially in Microsoft and Apple worlds )… The argument goes that theirs is the purer English, in that their spellings were what they took over there with ’em in the17th/18th centuries and has been in splendid isolation since, whereas ‘our English’ has been repeatedly altered and influenced (corrupted ?) by “Johnny Continental” and his ilk !

We’ll I will watch club RL if it’s on and I happen to be in…..and not otherwise occupied (I watched and enjoyed the Wigan G Final win) whereas you couldn’t pay me to watch Saracens and London Irish whatever……. The strange thing is my opinions are reversed when it comes to the International games of both codes …..captivated by 6 nations and Lions games but I doubt I’ll pay much attention to the forthcoming RL World Cup.

RL has been a ‘Stock item’ on Sky Sports pretty much from the off but it’s precisely because they could buy it relatively cheap and that they effectively forced it into the Spring/Summer slots that they’ve maintained it.
If Lenegan (smart guy that he is to be fair) thinks they can screw more out of em then good luck, but they need to be careful not to overplay their hand.

He may well have left in 2006 ……..at the end of a season that saw us average just over 21,000 with 3 or 4 sell outs ?

Maybe his memory is playing tricks.

Heard in the supporters club before the game on Sat that details of flight packages ought to be available today ??

I’d be happy to fly in and out on the day or incorporating an overnight stay … Don’t fancy two nights on a coach so would assume there might be a couple of hundred flike minded folk who might make a charter flight viable ?

Well as we don’t have a home game until 20th August, I’m hoping there’s no need to get a sweat on !
