a perfect title to the post, very frustrating.
Negatives for me are;
-the quality of the crossing, I couldnt recall a good one, from quite a lot of good attacking positions
-Nick Powell’s performance, needs dropiping and a kick up the pants, he is capable of much more
-slow on the break, Peterborough demonstarted the art of the fast break (but they didn’t score)
-big hole in the middle of midfield, it was like attack and defence for the last 15
-everyone back for corners, never understand why we don’t leave one up topPostives;
-clean sheet, I know that the defebnce will be pleased with that, Burn superb
-thought Vaugh looked committed and did make an impact
-lead at the top extended
-group of about 10 Germans sat near us to keep the entertainment up
-my flask of hot chocolate
-Peterborughs outball to the wide left, hopefully we can pick up on that fast outball and break awayCongrats Andy
Could you enter me please
would happily pay it all again even if a pie was £20!
Cup for me, particularly with the European benefit afterwards.
Full marks to Stu for his approach, and full marks to the responders for responding properly and not dousing him with loads of abuse. Hopefully we can treat all of our own forum with the same respect!I remembered the scunny score and the botham appearance’s but the Scarborough one had bypassed me. We have great momentum at the moment, it is one of the best things you can have in football you see it with city at the mo and we are the same in our league. You also feel it in individual games sometimes, it is something the other team cant stop. Long may it continue.
Didn’t know it was a record, thanks vat.
I hope the January window I about forward planning. It has the potential to be disruptive and short term. In my view the squad is good enough to win the league, despite one r two shortcomings. We should be using this window to sign players that we can with us next season so getting a running start for next season rather than signing when players get back from summer hols. It will be difficult to sign players on the promise of promotion, but that would be my preference. I would rather not sign anyone than inflate the squad with players that we will have to get rid of if we go up.
How do u know this Mr Brownbill?
Small world, went to a few away trips with Danny with my dad in the 80’s. Nice chap.
I still think its an excellent point, we have two v good keepers for this league. Personally I would have left it as was if he was fit, but now Walton is back with a clean sheet it should be his to then lose.
Excellent point gl!
Looked like Walton had forgotten how to kick the ball whilst he has been injured. Good to win, good position in the league, cold, forgettable game today.
Just got here, good job I’ve got a snowplough
I was at that Northwich game, from memory there was a match very close after that nearly got called off for as well.
I reckon we will be on tomorrow, get your thermals out, freezing on the school run tonight -
